Ann G. Casado-Murdock (Angie) named  Club Director at JSVBC.

 

 

 (Lakewood N.J.) Ann is currently the assistant volleyball coach at Georgian Court University and former Head Coach of the Lakewood High School Piners Girls Volleyball. An accomplished athlete that has been involved in sports since 1982. Her stellar career started when she was just five years old and since she has received many awards from every institution she has joined. In 2010 Ann participated in organized sports with a professional team associated to the world league of Volleyball, the FPV. Through her years in sports she have participated in several sports, being volleyball the sport that help her reach a Bachelor’s Degree Criminal Justice while enjoying athletic scholarship. Ann was named Daktronics Division II All- American Third Team in 2008, She earned the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA)/ CACC Newcomer of the Year in 2004, CACC Tournament Most Valuable Player 2006 and Honorable Mention Division II All- American. She was selected by The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) to the Division II All-Region Team, All CACC First Team 2008-2007- 2006- 2004, NCAA Division II East Regional All-Tournament Team, CACC All Tournament Team 2006-2007, CACC Player of the Year 2008, 2007, 2006,  and National Player of the Week- September 20, 2004.

 

Her passion for sports have brought her countless opportunities to represent our communities, but her true love is to serve the community and help others by teaching about all the benefits that comes with participating in sports activities. She reach out to serve the community through her affiliation to The New Jersey Volleyball Association (NJVBA), the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) and the United State Volleyball Association USAV by offering clinics, practices, and competition to boys and girls 8-18 years of age.

 

These are some of the reasons why she has been named the Director to the Jersey Shore Volleyball Club. There are few clubs that can offer your child the experience and the knowledge to succeed in the community of volleyball. JSVBC is above and beyond many programs in our state!

 

Ann is fluent in English and Spanish, which have helped her reach sectors of our community that otherwise would have been left behind. Her education includes, Bachelor’s Degree Criminal Justice, Victimology, Community Policing and Programs, Introduction to Corrections, Criminal Law and Practice, Criminal Investigation, Research Methods in Criminal Justice, Homeland Security, Women and Crime, Social Statistics, Crime and Delinquency, Juvenile Justice, Introduction to Forensic Science.
